Thanksgiving in Midland

This Thanksgiving Caden's grandparents came up to spend Thanksgiving in Midland! We had a great time, and had leftovers for days. Here are some pictures!

Caden LOVED the hay bale maze...

It's a Girl!!

Caden is going to have a little SISTER! We had our ultrasound today. Our little girl looked healthy and is measuring about 19.5 weeks along - pretty much on schedule! She's about 11 oz right now. Here's the best pictures!

This one was very cool - she brought her hand up in front of her face right before the ultrasound tech froze the screen! She couldn't possibly be camera shy, could she??

Grandma and Grandpa Frank Visit

Grandma and Grandpa Frank visited this week while Matt was in North Dakota hunting. Caden had SO much fun with them, and enjoyed all the attention! We went to Grandma's Pumpkin Patch Friday night. Here's the pictures, and a great video of Caden playing with the goats.

Child Labor

Caden has taken a big interest in helping me around the house. Tonight, he helped me with laundry, vacuuming the floors, and unloading the dishwasher. Here's a couple videos I shot of him helping out...

I have a feeling he won't be this helpful, or this enthusiastic, in about 14 years.... :-)

Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Matt and I took Caden to the Pumpkin Patch today. He had a blast, here are some pictures...

Caden had a really fun time feeding the goats. We had to keep an eye on him - because he wanted to eat the goat food.

BalloonFest and PSU Pictures

We went to BalloonFest tonight in Midland, and Caden had so much fun!!

We first stopped at the Midland Fairgrounds and saw a few balloons land there. The first one we saw land was in PSU colors - blue and white!






Some of the balloons didn't quite make it to the fairgrounds - they were landing in a park nearby. So, Caden and I went over there to watch, and it was worth it! We got to see the balloons up close and many landed right in front of us!





Caden was amazed by the fire they used in the balloon!

LONG weekend!

We had a great long weekend for the Labor Day holiday. Here's some pictures of the fun we had around the house with Caden this weekend.

We did a lot of cleaning - and Caden learned that the vacuum cleaner is a pretty fun toy. Here he is helping me vacuum his playroom.




I was organizing all of his clothes one afternoon and he spent a half hour reading his books in his room.

This first video was taken today when Caden was obviously ready for his nap. When he is tired and ready for bed - he lets us know!



Caden finally learned that he has some independence...and has started saying NO very emphatically when he doesn't want to do something. Here's an example..

Matt bought Caden new shoes this weekend. He loves them - and he loves helping us put on our shoes as well...
