6 Month Birthday and the Fourth of July!

Caden turned over 6 months last week!! It's quite a milestone with some big changes! We went to the doctor today for his checkup and he gave us the green light on solid food! So we will be starting with Rice Cereal on Friday morning. Be on the lookout for some hilarious pictures starting soon! We are also stopping the breathing treatments, which have now lasted for 3.5 months! We are so happy to be done with those (and even more happy that Caden's cough is gone) Hopefully it stays that way!

Caden is so much fun these days - he "talks" A LOT! His new favorite thing is to shriek very loudly. Evidently it's the coolest thing in the world, because ever since he realized he could do it - he does it a lot. :-) He is also getting more mobile by the day. He is starting the first stages of crawling. He is rolling over from his belly to his back, and back over again. He also scoots across the floor laying on his back. We'll get some video soon!

For the Fourth of July weekend we stayed at Joel and Heather's and had a relaxing weekend on the lake! Here are a few pictures:

Caden in his life jacket. He didn't like it, but was a trooper while we were moving on the lake. Once we were anchored in the shallow water of Pontoon Alley, we took it off of him and he was much happier.
